Hello! My name is Esra'a and I am a Third Year undergrad in Computer Science at Carleton University. I am currently working on a research project on pest detection with Dr. Tamblyn. I am fascinated by elegant algorithms, and have devloped a specific interest in ones in machine learning.

Project

Through machine learning and visualization tools, my current research project focuses on extracting insights from data gathered from pest detector prototypes to undertsand necessary choices that may optmize their performance. Prior to this, I have worked on a research project (NSERC USRA) in Carleton, aiming to construct a graph based clustering algorithm. Through it, some theoretical properties of the base graph were proven and some were studied experimentally.
